SSC Stenographer 2025 Educational Qualification

The minimum Educational Qualification required by a candidate is to be at least a 12th pass from a recognized Board or University. He / She must be able to produce the required documents when asked for verification after qualifying SSC Stenographer 2025 Exam.

SSC Stenographer 2025 Age limit

SSC Stenographer Grade C: A candidate must lie in the age domain of 18-30 years to be eligible for SSC Stenographer 2025 Grade C Exam. The candidates born not before 02.08.1995 and not later than 01.08.2007 are eligible to apply.

For the post of Sub-Inspector (Hindi Translator) in CRPF: The crucial date for determining the age-limit shall be the closing date for the receipt of application from candidates . The age limit for the post is 18-30 years as on closing date of receipt of online application, i.e., candidates born not before 25-06-1995 and not later than 26-06-2007.
For all other posts: The crucial date for age reckoning is fixed as 01-08-2025 in accordance with the provisions of DoP&T OM No. 140l7/70/87-Estt.(RR) dated 14-07-1988. The age limits for other posts are: 18 to 30 years as on 01-08-2025, i.e., candidates born not before 02-08-1995 and not later than 01-08-2007 are eligible to apply.

SSC JHT Examination Syllabus 2023

Paper-I (Computer Based Examination): The questions will be designed to test the candidates‟ understanding of the languages and literature, correct use of words, phrases and idioms and ability to write the languages correctly, precisely and effectively. The questions will be of degree level.
Paper-II: Translation and Essay: This paper will contain two passages for translation - one passage for translation from Hindi to English and one passage for translation from English to Hindi, and an Essay each in Hindi and English, to test the candidates‟ translation skills and their ability to write as well as comprehend the two languages correctly, precisely and effectively. The level of the paper will be consistent with the educational qualifications prescribed.

Educational Qualification

The minimum Educational Qualification required by a candidate is to be at least a 12th pass from a recognized Board or University. Age limit

SSC Stenographer Grade C: A candidate must lie in the age domain of 18-30 years to be eligible for SSC Stenographer 2023 Grade C Exam. The candidates born not before 02.08.1993 and not later than 01.08.2005 are eligible to apply. , Candidates born not before 02.08.1996 and not later than 01.08.2005 are eligible to apply.
SSC Stenographer Grade D: A candidate must lie in the age domain of 18-27 years to be eligible for SSC Stenographer 2023 Grade D Exam.

Application fee

The Application Fee for SSC Stenographer 2023 is Rs. 100/-(for General and OBC). Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen category as well as female candidates are exempted from paying the application fee for SSC Stenographer 2023.

The recruitment process for the post of MTS will consist of Session-I and Session-II in Computer Based Examination (CBE). The recruitment process for the post of Havaldar will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST).

How to Apply

The Commission released the SSC MTS apply online link with the release of official notification. SSC MTS 2022-23 applications started with the release of official notification. The commission added the Havaldar post in the notification and the vacancies for the same were notified. SSC MTS 2022-23 applications will now close on February 17. The candidates are required to fill out the SSC MTS form 2022-23 online only. SSC Registration is a prerequisite for filling out the form online.

SSC MTS Scheme of Examination 2023

Paper-1 is an online exam that is an objective multiple choice question type.
Paper-2 is a pen and paper mode of examination that includes writing a short essay or letter in English or any language is included in the VIII Schedule of the Constitution.
Paper-II will only be of qualifying nature and is intended to test elementary language skills. Paper-II will be held only for those candidates who meet the cut-off prescribed by the Commission in Paper-I for different categories.
Paper-II is only qualifying in nature. However, marks scored by the candidates in Paper-II will be used to decide merit in case more than one candidate score equal normalized marks in Paper-I.

SSC MTS 2023 Paper Pattern

The paper pattern for SSC MTS saw a change in the previous year’s session of the exam.

The exam consists of two papers i.e. Paper I & Paper 2.
Paper 1 is conducted online while Paper 2 is pen and paper-based.

SSC MTS Exam Pattern For Paper I:

SSC MTS Paper I will have four sections.
There will be Computer-Based Examination which is divided in 2 Sessions. Session-I and Session-II
The duration of the SSC MTS Exam will be 90 minutes for General Candidates and 120 minutes for PwD Candidates.
Paper I is an objective type paper with four MCQs out of which one will be correct.

Typing Test for LDC/ JSA and PA / SA: Candidates will be given a typing test of 30 wpm in English and 30 wpm in Hindi to be completed in 10 minutes.
DEO: Candidates will be asked to type 8,000 Key Depressions per hour on a Computer (15000 for DEO in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India -C&AG) in 15 minutes. The printed matter in English containing about 2000-2200 key-depressions (3700-4000 for DEO in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India - C&AG) would be given to each candidate who would enter the same in the Computer.

SSC CHSL DV 2022

All the candidates qualified for Document Verification (DV) are required to appear for DV along with the photocopies and original documents.
Important Note: Physical Standard, Physical Efficiency Tests, and Medical Standards are required for the post of Lower Division Clerk in BRO.

Essential Educational Qualifications (As on 08-10-2022):

Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer:

Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
Desirable Qualifications: Chartered Accountant or Cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.
During the period of probation direct recruits shall have to qualify the “Subordinate Audit/ Accounts Service Examination” in respective branches for confirmation and regular appointment as Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer.

Junior Statistical Officer:

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level; Or Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.

All other Posts:

Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

Requirement of age for various posts is as follows:

For the posts for which age limit is 18-27 years: Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1995 and not later than 01-01-2004.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has revised the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Exam pattern along with SSC CGL Notification 2022. The Examination will be conducted in 2 tiers as indicated below:

Tier – II (Paper I, II, III): (Computer-Based (online))

The examination will consist of two papers. Details of these papers are as follows:

Paper- I (Objective Type - Computer Based Mode):

General Hindi: 100 Questions & 100 Marks
General English: 100 Questions & 100 Marks
Duration: 2 Hours

Paper- II (Conventional Type - Descriptive):

Translation & Essay: 200
Duration: 2 Hours

Paper-I will consist of Objective Type Multiple choice questions only.
There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the question.

SSC JHT Examination Syllabus 2022

Paper-I (Computer Based Examination): The questions will be designed to test the candidates‟ understanding of the languages and literature, correct use of words, phrases and idioms and ability to write the languages correctly, precisely and effectively. The questions will be of degree level.
Paper-II: Translation and Essay: This paper will contain two passages for translation - one passage for translation from Hindi to English and one passage for translation from English to Hindi, and an Essay each in Hindi and English, to test the candidates‟ translation skills and their ability to write as well as comprehend the two languages correctly, precisely and effectively. The level of the paper will be consistent with the educational qualifications prescribed.

SSC JHT 2022 Qualifying Marks

The candidates can check the category-wise minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I and Paper-II are as follows:

UR: 30%
OBC/ EWS: 25%
Others: 20%
