Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- The minimum Educational Qualification required by a candidate is to be at least a 12th pass from a recognized Board or University. He/She must be able to produce the required documents when asked for verification after qualifying SSC Stenographer 2023 Exam. (For more details, check the recruitment notification shared here).
Age limit
- SSC Stenographer Grade C: A candidate must lie in the age domain of 18-30 years to be eligible for SSC Stenographer 2023 Grade C Exam. The candidates born not before 02.08.1993 and not later than 01.08.2005 are eligible to apply. , Candidates born not before 02.08.1996 and not later than 01.08.2005 are eligible to apply.
- SSC Stenographer Grade D: A candidate must lie in the age domain of 18-27 years to be eligible for SSC Stenographer 2023 Grade D Exam.
Application fee
- The Application Fee for SSC Stenographer 2023 is Rs. 100/-(for General and OBC). Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen category as well as female candidates are exempted from paying the application fee for SSC Stenographer 2023.
Selection Process
- Candidates will be selected based on the Online Written Exam, Stenography Skill Test, Document Verification, and Medical Examination.
How to Apply
- The candidates can apply online for the exam from 02 August to 23rd August 2023 as follow:
- Step 1: Go to the official website the commission i.e. ssc.nic.in
- Step 2: Click on 'New Registration'
- Step 3: Register for the exam using Basic details, Additional and contact details and Declaration.
- Step 4: After registration, login with your registration number and password.
- Step 5: Click on 'Apply' link in 'Stenographer Grade C' & 'D' Examination 2023' Section under 'Latest Notifications' tab.
- Step 6: Fill in the details
- Step 7: Upload your recent photograph and signature
- Step 8: Proceed to make fee payment if you are not exempted from payment of fee.
