SSC CGL 2023 Notification

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the commencement of the application process for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2023. Interested candidates will be able to apply online through the official website at ssc.nic.in till May 4. The candidates can make changes in their applications from May 7 to May 8. This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill approximately 7,500 vacancies in various departments.

SSC CGL 2023 Eligibility Criteria

SSC CGL 2023 Essential Educational Qualifications (As on 01-08-2023):

Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer:

Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
Desirable Qualifications: Chartered Accountant or Cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.
During the period of probation direct recruits shall have to qualify the “Subordinate Audit/ Accounts Service Examination” in respective branches for confirmation and regular appointment as Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer.

Junior Statistical Officer:

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level; Or Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.

Statistical Investigator Grade-II:

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognized University or Institute. The candidates must have studied Statistics as a subject in all the three years or all the 6 semesters of the graduation course.

Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC):

Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
Desirable Qualifications: Minimum one-year research experience in any recognized university or recognized Research Institution; Degree in Law or Human Rights from a recognized university.

All other Posts:

Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

SSC CGL 2023 Application Fee

The applictaion fee is Rs. 100. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of a fee.

SSC CGL 2023 Selection Process

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has revised the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Exam pattern along with SSC CGL Notification 2023. The Examination will be conducted in 2 tiers as indicated below:

Tier – I: Objective Multiple Choice (Computer-Based)
Tier – II (Paper I, II, III): (Computer-Based (online))

Paper I (Compulsory for all posts)
Paper II for candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation and

SSC CGL Answer Key 2021

The Staff Selection Commission - SSC official SSC CGL Answer Key 2021 for SSC CGL Tier-1 has been released by the Commission on 02 September 2021. SSC CGL Tier-1 2021 Exam for Combined Graduate Level was conducted from 13 to 24 August 2021 at different centres across the country. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) had declared revised schedule of examinations for the period 01.10.2020 to 31.08.2021.However, in view of the Assembly Elections in the State of Bihar, the following resultant modifications have been necessitated in the schedule of various examinations.

SSC Revised Schedules of the Examinations

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has again postponed SSC CHSL Tier-I 2019-20, SSC CGL Tier-II 2019-20, SSC JE Paper-I 2019-20, SSC Stenographer 2019-20, SSC JHT 2020 and SSC CPO 2020. The commission has also postponed the examination for Selection Posts (Phase-VIII) 2020, Constable (Executive) in Delhi Police Examination, 2020.

In view of the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic situation, the Staff Selection Commission has decided to re-schedule its pending examinations. The revised tentative schedules of the examinations will be as per the details given below:

Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination (Tier-I), 2019 - For left-over candidates.:

12.10.2020 to 16.10.2020, 19.10.2020 to 21.10.2020 and 26.10.2020

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has reviewed on 01.06.2020 the situation arising out of the Corona virus pandemic with a view to rescheduling its pending examinations.Taking into account the overall situation, it has been decided to announce tentative dates of the following examinations as per the details given below.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification

Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer:

Essential Qualifications: Bachelor‟s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
Desirable Qualifications: Chartered Accountant or Cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.
During the period of probation direct recruits shall have to qualify the “Subordinate Audit/ Accounts Service Examination” in respective branches for confirmation and regular appointment as Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.

Junior Statistical Officer:

Bachelor‟s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level; or
Bachelor‟s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.

Statistical Investigator Grade-II:

Bachelor‟s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognized University or Institute. The candidates must have studied Statistics as a subject in all the three years of the graduation course.

All other Posts:

Bachelor‟s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent

Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only). Fee can be paid through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit card or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan. Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwD and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee

SSC CGL Tentative Answer Key 2018

Staff Selection Commission - SSC published an official tentative answer key along with Candidates’ Response Sheets of for Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-II) 2018. You can view this provisional (tentative) answer keys by your web browser or download it in pdf format for all paper sets. This exam held on 11 to 14/09/2019 by SSC. The candidates’ Response Sheets along with the tentative Answer Keys are now available on the link given below. The candidates may login in the link provided below by using their Examination Roll No. and Password.

Staff Selection Commission - SSC has declared the result of Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-I) 2018 on 20.08.2019. In order to ensure greater transparency in the examination system, and in the interest of the candidates, the Commission has uploaded the Final Answer Keys along with Question Paper of candidates on 05.09.2019. The candidates may take a print out of their respective Question Paper along with the Final Answer Keys by using the link given below. This facility will be available for the candidates for a period of one month i.e. upto 04.10.2019.
