Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started the recruitment process to hire for the post of Superintendent and Junior Assistant. Interested candidates can register at the official website– cbse.nic.in. The Board aims to invite online applications from interested and eligible, Indian citizens on a direct recruitment basis through an All India Competitive Examination. The registration for 212 posts will end on January 31.

BSE Recruitment 2025 Eligibility:
Educational Qualification
- The candidates aspiring to apply online for CBSE Recruitment for Superintendent and Junior Assistant (Group B & C) posts should fulfill the required education qualification.
- Superintendent:
- Candidates must have complete Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or equivalent
- Working knowledge of Computer/Computer Applications such as Windows, MS-Office, handling of large database, and Internet
- A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on a Computer (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH/ 9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word) will be mandatory for the post; however, it will be qualifying in nature
- Junior Assistant:
- Candidates must possess 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University
- A typing speed of 35 wp.m. in English or 30 wp.m. in

Age limit
- The candidate must have attained the minimum age of 18 years as on 31/01/2025. The Check upper age limit for Superintendent and Junior Assistant (Group B & C) from the table below.
- Superintendent - 18 years to 30 years
- Junior Assistant - 18 years to 27 years
CBSE Recruitment 2025 Application Fee
- The application fee for the unreserved candidates is Rs 800 while for SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Ex-Servicemen/ Women/ Departmental candidates, it is Nil.
CBSE Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
- The selection process for recruitment of junior assistants and superintendents under the CBSE consists of multiple stages. The selection of candidates for Junior Assistants posts will be based on Tier 1 and Sill Test and for Superintendents posts candidates have to undergo the selection stage Tier 1, 2, and Skill Test.
- Tier 1 – The Tier 1 exam consists of objective-type multiple-choice questions.
- Tier 2 – The Tier 2 exam will be held for superintendent posts consisting of Objective type (OMR Based) and Descriptive (Written) Examinations.
- Skill Test – Based on candidates’ performance in the Tier-1/Tier-2 exam, the candidates will be called for the Skill Test. The skill test/ typing test is qualifying in nature and no mark will be counted for the final merit list.

- Register yourself to obtain your login credentials, which include your application number and date of birth.
- Enter your basic and educational qualification details, and upload the required documents, including your photograph and signature.
- Finally, pay the required application fee through the available payment gateway and submit the application form. Please refer to the official notification for the specified fee structure.
- Download the application form and print it.
