ITBP Motor Mechanic Recruitment 2024

Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) has released a notification for the recruitment of Head Constable (Motor Mechanic) and Constable (Motor Mechanic) posts for the year 2024. This recruitment is for Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted (Non-Ministerial) positions on a temporary basis, likely to be permanent. Below are the complete details as per the official notification.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Head Constable (Motor Mechanic): 10+2 pass and ITI Certificate/ Diploma in Motor Mechanic or Automobile Engineering with 3 years of experience in the trade
Constable (Motor Mechanic): Matriculation (10th pass) and ITI Certificate in Motor Mechanic or 3 years of experience in the trade

Age limit

Candidates applying for both posts must be between 18 and 25 years of age as of January 22, 2025. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms for SC, ST, OBC, and other categories.

Application Fee

Interested candidates must pay the Online application fee of 200 for the SI post and 100 for the HC and Constable Post.

General, EWS, OBC (Sub-Inspector Post): Rs. 200/-
General, EWS, OBC (Head Constable, Constable Post): Rs. 100/-

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification

Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University. [Candidates should note that Date of Birth and Name as recorded in the Matriculation/ Secondary Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate will only be accepted for determining the age etc. No subsequent request for its change will be considered or granted. Candidates who doesn‟t possess the essential educational qualification as on 31/12/2021 shall not be eligible and need not apply.]
Sports Qualification: Individual event (National) Sportsperson of merit who must have won any medal in individual event in National Games/National Championships (Both Junior & Senior) or any recognized sports meet of national repute conducted under the aegis of respective Federation/ Association recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports or conducted by the Indian Olympic Association during last three years from the date of publication of recruitment advertisement in Newspapers/websites.
Team event (National): The team of sportsperson must have won any medal in National Games/National Championships (Both Junior & Senior) or any recognized sports meet of national repute conducted under the aegis of respective Federation/Association recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports or conducted by the Indian Olympic Association during last three years from the date of publication of recruitment advertisement in Newspapers/websites.
Individual/Team event (International): Sportsperson of merit who have represented the Country in any international repute championship conducted under the aegis of respective Federation/Association during last three years from the date of publication of recruitment advertisement in newspapers/websites.

Age limit

18 to 23 years as on closing date of receipt of application.

Application fee

Candidates need to pay the application fee of Rs. 100/- only in the form of Postal Order/Demand Draft from State Bank of India drawn in favour of the Authority mentioned in the detailed advertisement foe each sports category. SC/ST/Female candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Written Exam, Steno/ Typing Test, Document Verification, Medical Examination.

How to Apply

The duly filled application form in the prescribed format with photocopies of all relevant documents, 02 latest passport size photographs and envelopes mentioning correspondence address of the applicant with requisite stamps should be mailed/deposited, Name of the examination i.e. “APPLICATION FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF SPORTSPERSON IN CRPF AGAINST SPORTS QUOTA-2022” should be written on the top of the envelope before dispatching it to designated authority mentioned in the detailed advertisement within 30 days of the publication of advertisement (the advertisement was published on 29/10/2022) and within 45 days for the candidates from far-flung difficult areas of the country only for CRPF Sportspersons Head-Constable Recruitment 2022.
