Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Pass out of Diploma or equivalent in engineering / technology streams or sandwich course (students studying degree level courses in sandwich programme of Engineering / Technology) in Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Computer Information Technology / Electrical / Electrical & Electronics stream, recognized by AICTE or GOI on or after 1st April, 2020.

Age limit

  • Maximum age of the candidate should be 25 years or less as on 9th March, 2022. 

Selection Process

  • The candidate can apply to any Business Area of Punjab Telecom Circle as shown in Table A. However, preference for selection will be given to the candidate residing in concerned associated Business Area/ Districts coming under that Business Area (BA). 
  • The selection criteria will be based on the merit of final %age of marks/ CGPA obtained by the candidate in Diploma or equivalent or in sandwich course. 
  • The shortlisted candidates will be informed through email for document verification & joining if selected b y concerned BAs for which the candidate has applied.

How to Apply

  • Eligible and Interested candidate can apply through BOAT’s Portal (www.mhrdnats.gov.in) to the BSNL Business Areas on or before 9 th March, 2022. Check the notification link for details in this regards.

Educational Qualification

  • The selection shall be based on the final merit list created based on the combined score of On-line Assessment Process, Group Discussion and Interview with weightage as under:
    • Assessment process (On-line): 75%
    • Group Discussion: 12.5%
    • Interview: 12.5%

Scheme of On-line Assessment Process & Syllabus

  • The pattern of the question will be multiple choice objective type questions (MCQ) with negative marking. All candidates will undergo a common multiple-choice type ON-LINE Assessment Process of three hours consisting of the following three sections:
    • Section-I - Management Aptitude: 150 Marks
    • Section-II - Cognitive Ability: 150 Marks
    • Section-III - Technical knowledge: 150 Marks
    • Total: 450 Marks 
    • Duration: 3 Hours (10.00 A.M. to 1.00 P.M.)

    • The applicant must possess a B.E/B.Tech Degree in Telecommunication / Electronics / Radio / Computer/ Electrical / IT (Information Technology) / Instrumentation or M.Sc (Electronics) / (Computer Science) from a recognized Engineering College / University
      • Stipend: Rs. 4984/- per month
  • Diploma Holder in Engineering Technician Apprentice: 35 Posts
    • The applicant must possess Three years Engineering Diploma in Telecommunication / Electronics / Electrical / Radio / Computer Engineering ,Instrumentation, Information Technology from a Central Govt./State Govt. recognized institution or B.Sc (Electronics) / (Computer Science) in Electronics from a recognized institution/university.
      • Stipend: Rs. 3542/- per month

Age Limit: Between 18 years to 30 years as on closing date for receipt of applications.

Selection Process: Selection will be shortlisted on the basis of merit in the academic examinations & personal interview.
