SBI Clerk Educational Qualification 2024-25

Educational Qualification

Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by Central Government. Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.12.2024.
Those who are in the final year/ semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.12.2024.
Note:

The date of passing eligibility examination will be the date appearing on the mark sheet/certificate or provisional certificate issued by the University/Institute. In case the result of a particular examination is posted on the website of the University/ Institute, a certificate issued by the appropriate authority of the University/Institute indicating the date on which the result was posted on the website will be taken as the date of passing.
Matriculate Ex-servicemen, who have obtained the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate in the Navy or Air Force, after having completed not less than 15 years of service in Armed Forces of the Union are also eligible for the post. Such certificates should be dated on or before 31.12.2024.

SBI Clerk Age Limit 2024-25

Not below 20 years and not above 28 years as on 01.04.2024, i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1996 and not later than 01.04.2004 (both days inclusive).

SBI Clerk Application Fee

To complete the application process, the candidates will have to pay the SBI Clerk Application Fee 2024. The application fees for SC/ST/PWD is waived off by the State Bank of India and the fees for other categories has been mentioned in the table given below.

General/OBC/EWS: Rs 750/-
SC/ST/PWD: NIL

SBI Clerk Selection Process 2024-25

The selection process will consist of on-line test (Preliminary & Main exam) and test of specified opted local language.

Preliminary Exam: The Preliminary Exam consists of 100 questions, each carrying 1 mark. You have 60 minutes to complete the exam. For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks are deducted. The sections are: English (30 questions, 30 marks, 20 minutes), Quantitative Aptitude (35 questions, 35 marks, 20 minutes), and Reasoning (35 questions, 35 marks, 20 minutes).
Mains Exam: The Mains Exam is conducted online and is objective in nature. It carries a total of 200 marks and lasts for 2 hours and 40 minutes. The sections include General English (40 questions, 40 marks, 35 minutes), Quantitative Aptitude (50 questions, 50 marks, 45 minutes), Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude (50 questions, 60 marks, 45 minutes), and General/Financial Awareness (50 questions, 50 marks, 35 minutes).
Final Selection: To receive the final call letter, you need to pass all stages of the selection process- Prelims and Mains.
