SCI Junior Court Assistant Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University
  • Minimum speed of 35 w.p.m. in English Typing on Computer
  • Knowledge of Computer operation

Age limit

  • 18 to 30 years

Application Fee

  • Candidates will be required to pay non-refundable Application/Test fee of Rs. 1000/- for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Differently Abled/Freedom Fighter candidates plus bank charges through online mode only. Fee shall not be accepted in any other form. No postal application shall be accepted. The fee shall be paid online through payment gateway provided by UCO Bank. SCI Junior Court Assistant Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

  • The selection process includes a written test. The written test will consist of an objective, descriptive, and typing test. The objective type paper will last 2 hours, the typing test 10 minutes, and the descriptive type paper 2 hours.
  • Candidates who qualify in the Objective Type Written Test and Objective Type Computer Knowledge Test will only be called for Typing Speed Test on Computer and Descriptive Test. Those who qualify the said tests will be required to appear for an Interview before an Interview Board and qualify the Interview by securing minimum qualifying marks.

SCI Law Clerk Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • The candidate must be a Law Graduate (before taking up the assignment as Law Clerk) having a Bachelor Degree in Law (including Integrated Degree Course in Law) from any School/College/University/Institution established by law in India and recognized by the Bar Council of India for enrolment as an Advocate.
  • The candidate studying in the fifth year of the Five-Year Integrated Law Course or the third year of the Three-Year Law Course after graduation in any stream will also be eligible to apply, subject to furnishing proof of acquiring Law qualification before taking up the assignment as Law Clerk cum-Research Associate.
  • The candidate must have research and analytical skills, writing abilities, and knowledge of computers, including retrieval of desired information from various search engines/processes such as e-SCR, Manupatra, SCC Online, LexisNexis, Westlaw etc.

Age limit

  • The candidate must not be below the age of 20 years and above 32 years as on 07.02.2025.

Application Fee

  • The application fee for the Law clerk cum Research Associate position is Rs 500, plus additional bank charges. This fee must be paid online through the UCO Bank Payment Gateway. Candidates to note that no other payment methods will be accepted and postal applications will not be considered.

SCI Law Clerk Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

  • The selection process of Supreme Court of India (SCI) 90 Law Clerk cum Research Associate (RA) posts comprises three stages:
    • Part I: Multiple Choice Questions to evaluate legal knowledge and comprehension.
    • Part II: Subjective Written Examination to test analytical and writing skills.
    • Part III: Personal Interview.
