Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has released the notification for SSB Recruitment 2023 on the official website at ssbrectt.gov.in for recruiting 1656 vacancies for the post of Assistant Commandant, Sub Inspector (SI), Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI), ASI Stenographer and Head Constable (HC), Constable. Online applications are invited from interested and eligible Indian candidates on the official website and the online registration process lasts till 18th June 2023. Assistant Commandant (Veterinary): Graduate in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry
Sub-Inspector (SI)- Tech.: Degree/ Diploma/ ITI in Related Field
ASI (Paramedical Staff): Diploma in Related Field
ASI (Steno): 12th Pass + Steno
Head Constable (HC)- Tech.: Diploma/ Certificate in Related Field
Constable (Tradesman): 10th Pass

Age limit

Minimum Age: 18 Years (Post Wise)
Maximum Age: 23-30 Years (Post Wise)

Application Fee

Candidates applying for SSB Recruitment 2023 have to pay the non-refundable application fee. The application fee is to be paid online through net banking/credit card/debit card. The SC/ ST/ and EX Service Men and Female Candidates are exempted from payment of examination fees. The post-wise examination fee is mentioned below in the table.

Rs. 100/- = Assistant Commandant / Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) / Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer) / Head Constable (HC) / Constable.
Rs. 200/- = Sub Inspector (SI) - Rs. 200/-

Selection Process

The SSB recruitment process is a multi-stage process, and it involves a written exam, physical efficiency test, and medical examination. For the selection in SSB Recruitment for different posts candidates will undergo the the following selection stage.

Candidates applying for SSB Sub Inspector Jobs 2021 through SSB SI Recruitment 2021 must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 200 (UR/EWS and OBC) as an application fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit) mode only. However, SC/ST/Ex-SM and Female candidates are exempted from paying the examination fee for SSB Sub Inspector Recruitment 2021.

Constable posts: Rs. 5200-20200/- Grade Pay : Rs. 2000/-

Method of Selection: The Selection/Recruitment Process will consist of Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Documentation, Written examination and Medical examination. The final selection list will be prepared in order of category wise merit after completion of Review Medical Examination.

Examination Fee: Candidates are required to pay Rs. 50/- as examination fee in the form of IPO/ Demand Draft/ Banker Cheque in favour of PAO, SSB, MHA, New Delhi, payable at State Bank of India, R.K. Puram, New Delhi (Branch Code-01076). SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen and Female candidates are not required to submit examination fee.
