  • The selection process for the Junior Office Assistant position is designed to be transparent and efficient. It consists of a single stage:
  • Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT): This is the only stage of selection. Candidates who qualify in the CBT and stand high on the merit list will be considered for final appointment, subject to document verification and a pre-employment medical examination.
    • Exam Mode: The test will be conducted online.
    • Question Type: All questions will be Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs).
    • Language: The test will be bilingual (English & Hindi).
    • Duration: The total duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
    • Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking for wrong answers, which is a significant advantage for applicants.
    • Qualifying Marks:
      • 50% for General/OBC/ST/EWS candidates.
      • 40% for SC/PwBD candidates.

  • Scientific Assistant/C: For safety supervisor: Diploma in Engineering or B.Sc. One year Diploma/Certificate in Industrial Safety.  Minimum 04 years of industrial experience in relevant field after obtaining requisite qualification.
  • For civil: Diploma with not less than 60% marks in Civil Engineering recognized by Ministry of HR Development. Post qualification experience of 4 years (Full Time) as a Supervisor in any PSU or Private firms of repute in the Civil discipline
  • Scientific Assistant/B: Diploma with not less than 60% marks in Civil, Electrical and in relevant departments.
  • Assistant Grade-1(HR/F&A/C&MM): A Bachelor’s Degree in Grade-1 Science with Physics/ Chemistry / Mathematics/ Commerce with minimum 50% marks.
  • Steno Grade-1: A Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with minimum 50% marks.
  • Sub-Officer/B: 12th with the equivalent of 50% mark and passed sub officer course from National fire service college. 12 years/ 15 years of experience as Fireman/Driver-cum Operator in a recognized Civil/Industrial Fire Service Station is essential.
  • Leading Fireman/A: 12th with equivalent of 50% mark and 8 years/7 years of experience in a well established fire organization as Fire man/driver-cum-operator. 
  • Driver-cum-Pump Operator-cum-Fireman/A: 12th with equivalent of 50% mark and should have valid heavy vehicle license with minimum one year driving experience.

  • For Stipendiary Trainee/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) – Diploma Holders & Science Graduates: 18 to 25 years
