NMDC Steel Eligibility Criteria 2025
NMDC Educational Qualification
- Field Attendant: Candidates should complete the ITI Degree
- Maintenance Assistant (Elect.): Candidates should complete an ITI Degree in Electrical Trade
- Maintenance Assistant (Mech): Candidates should complete an ITI in Welding / Fitter / Machinist / Motor Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic / Auto Electrician.
- Blaster Gr.- II : Candidates should complete a Matric / ITI with Blaster / Mining Mate
- Electrician Gr.-III : Candidates should complete a Diploma in Electrical Engineering with Industrial / Domestic Electrical Installations Certificate.
- Electronics Technician Gr.-III: Candidates should complete a Diploma in Electronics Engineering.
- HEM Mechanic Gr.- III : Candidates should complete a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
- HEM Operator Gr.- III : Candidates should complete a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering with a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
- MCO Gr.-III: Candidates should complete a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License
- QCA Gr III : Candidates should complete a B.Sc. in Chemistry / Geology, with post-qualification experience of 1 year in sampling work is essential

NMDC Steel Application Fees 2025
- An amount of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) is to be paid by all the candidates as application fee which is non-refundable.
NMDC Steel Selection Process 2025
- Candidates applying for the role of NMDC Steel Limited Executives will selected based on the scores of their OMR-based test/Computer-Based Test (CBT). They will called for the Physical Ability Test/Trade Test, and then the document verification will follow. The NMDC Selection Process is given below-

- Important Points Regarding NMC Selection Process:
- Candidates will be called for the second round of the test in a 1:3 ratio. This means for each available spot, three candidates will be selected based on their scores in the OMR/CBT exam.
- Minimum qualifying marks in OMR/CBT: SC / ST / PwBD is 40 marks and for OBC (NCL) – 45 marks, UR/EWS is 50 marks.
- Final selection is based on marks obtained in the OMR Based Test / Computer Based Test (CBT), subject to qualifying in the 2nd Level Test.
- Document verification will checked at the time of the second level test.
