BEL Probationary Engineer Selection Process 2025

Candidates will be selected through a Computer Based Test (CBT) and Interview. The exam will consist of 85 marks and interview will have 15 marks. The test will be held for 120 minutes. The number of questions in the CBT is 125. The question paper will consist of 100 technical subject questions and 25 general aptitude and reasoning questions. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. (Representative/File)

Experience in Core JAVA, IDE such as Eclipse, Netbeans, Jboss developer studio, Java EE (JSP / Servlets / EJB/JMS/Portlets) etc.
Experience in UI design using JavaScript / AJAX / Angular / CSS / HTML, working with XML/JSON and Knowledge of Hibernate, JDBC, relational databases, and SQL.
Technically hands-on with tools and related frameworks - Qt, C++, network programming and multi-threading
Knowledge on serial/LAN/modem interface development, communication protocols such as CSMA, TDMA, Ftp, TCP/IP, UDP, NTP etc

Age limit

Upper age limit is 28 years as on 01.08.2021.
