Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued an official notification for 552 AWO/TPO vacancies to be recruited through Head Constable {Assistant Wireless Operator (AWO)/Tele-Printer Operator (TPO)} in Delhi Police Examination, 2025. A four-round selection process will be carried out to select the eligible candidates for Assistant Wireless Operator (AWO)/Tele-Printer Operator (TPO) posts. The candidates with 12th pass education qualification can apply for Delhi Police Head Constable (AWO/TPO) Recruitment 2025, for which the link has been activated on 24th September 2025 onwards.

Delhi Police AWO TPO Eligibility Criteria 2025
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed:
- Class 12th (10+2) from a recognised board with Science & Mathematics as subjects. OR
- National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the trade of Mechanic-cum-Operator Electronic Communication System.
Age limit
- Candidates should be of a minimum of 18 years of age and a maximum of 27 years of age.
- Candidates must not be born before 02-01- 1998 and not later than 01-01-2007.

SSC Delhi Police Head Constable 2025 Selection Process
- To be shortlisted for the Head Constable (AWO/TPO) 2025 recruitment, candidates must successfully clear the following stages:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): Objective-type examination to assess general knowledge, reasoning, and professional aptitude.
- Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT): Evaluates the candidate’s physical fitness and measurement standards.
- Trade Test: Includes reading and dictation tasks relevant to the AWO/TPO role.
- Computer Proficiency Test (CPT): Tests practical skills in computer operations and word processing.
- Document Verification: Verification of educational, identity, and other required certificates.
Delhi Police HC AWO/TPO Exam Pattern
- he Delhi Police Head Constable Exam will be conducted as a Computer-Based Examination (CBE) comprising objective-type questions. The exam duration is 90 minutes. It will consist of five sections: General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, General Intelligence, English, and Computer Fundamentals. No negative marking will be applicable.
- The exam will consist of five different subjects, each section will contain different marks with a total of 100 marks.
- Each correct answer will be given 1 mark.
- The exam will be conducted for 90 minutes in total.
- The candidates who qualify at this stage with the required marks will be selected for the next stage of the selection process.
- There is no negative marking.
- The Delhi Police Head Constable examination will be a Computer-Based Objective Type Exam.

- Step 2: The home page will appear on the candidate’s screens.
