RRB Technician 2025 Notification

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) has issued a short notice in an employment newspaper for the Railway RRB Technician Vacancy 2025 CEN No. 02/2025. According to the advertisement, total 6180 vacancies have been released, out of which 180 posts are available for Technician Grade I Signal and 6000 posts for Technician Grade III. The main task of the Technician in Indian Railways is maintenance and servicing and candidates with ITI pass and B.Sc degree are eligible for it. Railway RRB Technician Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Technician Grade 1 Signal: Applicants must hold a BSc degree in Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, IT, or Instrumentation, or a Diploma/Degree in Engineering in the relevant disciplines.
Technician Grade 3: Candidates must have passed Class 10 (SSLC/Matriculation) and completed an ITI or Apprenticeship in specific trades such as Foundryman, Moulder, Pattern Maker, or Forger and Heat Treater.

Age limit (as of July 1, 2025)

Grade 1 Signal: 18 to 33 years
Grade 3: 18 to 30 years

Railway RRB Technician Application Fees 2025:

Rs 250: SC/ST, Ex-servicemen, PwD, Women, Transgender, Minorities, and Economically Backward Class (fully refundable upon appearing in CBT)
Rs 500: All other categories (Rs. 400 refundable upon appearing in CBT)

Railway RRB Technician 2025 Exam Pattern

The RRB Technician Grade 1 Signal exam is a single-stage CBT with 100 questions for 100 marks, to be completed in 90 minutes. There’s no penalty for unanswered questions, but 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
