SMC Eligibility 2025
Educational Qualification
- Medical Officer: MBBS from recognized university, registered with Gujarat Medical Council.
- Pharmacist: B.Pharm or D.Pharm with valid registration and CCC certificate.
- Finance Assistant: B.Com with accounting and computer proficiency, typing skills.
- Lab Technician: B.Sc/M.Sc in Chemistry or Microbiology + Lab Tech Course.
- ANM: Government recognized ANM course, registration with Gujarat Nursing Council.
- Ayush Medical Officer: BAMS/BHMS + council registration + CCC.
- Pharmacist cum DEO (RBSK): B.Pharm/D.Pharm + CCC.
- ANM (RBSK): Same as above ANM criteria + CCC.
SMC Selection Process 2025
- The primary selection method is "purely on a merit basis." This usually means that candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic qualifications and marks obtained in their qualifying examinations (e.g., MBBS, B.Com, B.Sc, D.Pharm/B.Pharm, ANM course).
- Higher academic scores will likely lead to a higher position on the merit list.
