Technical Assistant- Mechanical: First Class Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engg.
Technical Assistant- Computer Science: First Class Diploma in Computer Science/IT
Technical Assistant- Chemical: First Class Diploma in Chemical Engg/Tech.
Technical Assistant- Automobile: First Class Diploma in Automobile Engg.
Technical Assistant- Civil: First Class Diploma in Civil Engg.
Technical Assistant- Refrigeration & A.C.: First Class Diploma in Refrigeration & A.C.
Scientific Assistant- Physics: First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Physics
Scientific Assistant- Chemistry: First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry

Age limit

18 to 35 years as on 16/06/2025

Application Fee

To apply for Scientist/Engineer-SC posts, all candidates have to pay a fee of Rs. 750/-. The Female, SC/ST, Ex-servicemen, and PwBD candidates will be refunded a total amount if they appear for the written test. Other candidates will get Rs/ 500/- refunded (after deducting bank charges) if they appear for the test. The fee will be paid online through Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking / UPI only through the Integrated SBI ePay facility.

ISRO VSSC Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

The ISRO VSSC exam is conducted to recruit candidates for Scientific, Technical & Library Assistant posts. The selection process for the ISRO VSSC 2025 exam includes the written exam and an Interview. Successfully registered candidates will be called to appear for the written test, and based on performance in the written test, candidates will be short-listed for interview in the ratio of 1:5.
