Educational Qualification

Geologist: Candidates must have completed their PG/M.Sc./M.Tech Degree in Geology / Petroleum Geoscience
Geophysicist (Surface): Candidates must have completed PG/M.Sc./M.Tech Degree in Geophysics / Geophysical Technology
Geophysicist (Wells): Candidates must have completed PG/M.Sc./M.Tech Degree in Geophysics / Geophysical Technology
AEE (Production) – Mechanical: Candidates must possess a Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 60% marks
AEE (Production) – Petroleum: Candidates must possess a Graduate Degree in Petroleum Engineering / Applied Petroleum Engineering with minimum 60% marks
AEE (Production) – Chemical: Graduate Degree in Chemical Engineering with minimum 60% marks
AEE (Drilling) – Mechanical: Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 60% marks
AEE (Drilling) – Petroleum: Graduate Degree in Petroleum Engineering with minimum 60% marks

Age limit

Application Fee

The Application Fee for General, EWS and OBC category candidates is Rs 1000, which must be paid online. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD categories are exempt from paying the application fee.

Selection Process

The ONGC AEE selection process involves a Computer Based Test comprising of four sections. Qualified candidates in the CBT exam will be shortlisted to appear for a personal interview & group discussion. The final selection of the candidate will be based on the total marks scored by candidates in CBT and performance in the Personal Interview.

Computer Based Test: 85 Marks
Interview: 15 Marks
Total: 100 Marks
