Assam Rifles Recruitment 2023
Assam Rifles has recently issued a new notification for the recruitment of 161 Technical and Tradesman positions as part of the Assam Rifles Technical and Tradesman Recruitment Rally 2023. The recruitment rallies will take place at assigned centers in the North East (NE) Regions. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can submit their applications online through the official website assamrifles.gov.in, starting from 21st October 2023.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Personal Assistant: Candidates who have passed their Class 12th / Intermediate Examination from any recognized Board in India with a Dictation of 10 min @ 80 wpm and transcription of 50 minutes in English and 65 minutes in Hindi will be eligible for this post.
- Religious Teacher: Candidates who have passed their Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject from any recognized University in India will be eligible for this post.
- Lineman Field: Candidates who have passed their Class 10th / High School Examination from any recognized Board in India with an ITI certificate in Electrician Trade will be eligible for this post.
- Recovery Vehicle Mechanic: Candidates who have passed their Class 10th / High School Examination from any recognized Board in India with an ITI certificate in Recovery Vehicle Mechanic will be eligible for this post.
- Bridge & Road (Male & Female): Candidates who have passed their Class 10th / High School Examination from any recognized Board in India with a Diploma in Civil Engineering for Bridge and Road will be eligible for this post.
- Electrical & Mechanical: Candidates who have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Mechanical or Civil Engineering from any recognized University in India will be eligible for this post.
- Draughtsman: Candidates who have passed their Class 12th / Intermediate Examination from any recognized Board in India with 3 3-year diploma in Architectural Assistantship will be eligible for this post.
- Plumber: Candidates who have passed their Class 10th / High School Examination from any recognized Board in India with an ITI certificate in Plumber Trade will be eligible for this post.
- Surveyor ITI: Candidates who have passed their Class 10th / High School Examination from any recognized Board in India with an ITI certificate in Surveyor Trade will be eligible for this post.
- X-Ray Assistant: Candidates who have passed their Class 12th / Intermediate Examination from any recognized Board in India with a Diploma in Radiology will be eligible for this post.
Age limit
- Personal Assistant / Recovery Vehicle Mechanic: 18 to 25 years
- Religious Teacher: 18 to 30 years
- Lineman Field / Bridge & Road / Plumber / X-Ray Assistant: 18 to 23 years
- Electrical & Mechanical Engineer: 18 to 30 years
- Draughtsman: 18 to 25 years
- Surveyor: 20 to 28 years
Application Fees
- Only online applications are invited for the Assam Rifles post, so candidates who are interested can do the same by applying online and completing the payment process. The online application fees for this post is as follows:
- For all category Group B posts – Rs. 200/-
- For all category Group C posts – Rs. 100/-
- No Fee is charged from candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Female/ Ex Servicemen candidates.
Selection Process
- Assam Rifles are recruiting candidates for the post of Technical and Tradesman Rally 2023 for a total of 161 vacancies. This is a 3 stage process that includes:
- PMT & PET
- Skill Test / Trade Test
- Written Exam
- Documentation
- Medical Exam
- After the candidate has successfully cleared all the levels, the Merit list will be announced of the final selected candidates for the post of Assam Riffles Technical and Tradesman 2023.
