Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the recruitment notification for the post of Extension Officer, Junior Scientific Officer and Investigator Grade-I. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Extension Officer: The candidates should have completed Master Degree in Agriculture or Agricultural Extension from a recognized university or institute with One year experience in Agricultural Extension work in the Central or State Government or others.
Junior Scientific Officer (Biology): The candidates should have completed Masters Degree in Botany or Zoology or Microbiology or Biotechnology or Biochemistry or Physical Anthropology or Genetics or Forensic Science with Botany or Zoology with Three years experience in research and analytical work in the field of Biology in any central and state organization or recognized institute or university or others.
Junior Scientific Officer (Chemistry): The candidates should have completed Masters Degree in Chemistry or Associateship diploma of the Institution of Chemist by examination with Three years experience in research and analytical work in the field of Chemistry in any central and state organization or others.
Investigator Grade-I: The candidates should have completed Post Graduate Degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics from a recognized University/ Institute or equivalent .

Age Limit

Extension Officer: 38 years
Jr. Scientific Officer / Investigator (Grade-I) 30 years

Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty-five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.
