Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification

Assistant Editor: Candidate should have Degree of a recognized university and Degree or Diploma in Librarianship or equivalent qualifications of a recognized University or institution. About five years’ practical experience in a responsible capacity in a Library of standing and Proficiency in Oriya Language is needed.
Assistant Director: candidate should have A qualification recognized for enrolment in the Register of Members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
Economic Officer: Master’s Degree in Economics or Applied Economics or Business Economics or Econometrics of a recognized University, incorporated by an act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutes established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as University under Section 3 of the University Grant Commission Act, 1956 or a foreign University approved by the Central Government from time to time. Two years’ experience of conducting economic investigation or research from recognized Research Institutes in India, University or Deemed University and Central or State Government.
Administrative Officer: Degree from a recognized university and Two years’ experience of Administration, Accounts and Establishment work in Government office or in a public body.
Mechanical Marine Engineer: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering or Automobile Engineering from a recognized University or institution with Five years experience in operation, maintenance, troubleshooting of marine diesel engines, auxiliaries, ship board marine mechanical equipments is needed.
Lecturer: Masters’ Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized University. Two years’ Teaching experience in Occupational Therapy from an institute recognized by the Central or State Government or an autonomous body under the Central or State Government or a University is needed.

Application Fee

Candidate’s age limit for Assistant Editor, Assistant Director is 30 years, for Economic Officer, Lecturer, Scientist, Chemist, Junior Mining, Research Officer, Administrative Officer age limit is 35 years, for Mechanical Marine Engineer is 40 years, and Assistant Professor age limit is 45 years to 50 years is mandatory. Age relaxable for SC/ST candidate’s upto 5 years and upto 3 years for OBC candidates in respect of vacancies reserved for them.

Selection Process

The category-wise minimum level of suitability in interviews, irrespective of whether the selection is made only by interview or by Recruitment Test followed by interview, will be UR/EWS-50 marks, OBC-45 marks, SC/ST/PwBD-40 marks, out of the total marks of interview being 100.
In cases where selection is made by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by interview, the candidate will have to achieve minimum level of suitability in their respective category at Interview stage.
