GMRC Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Applicant must be a Graduate in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
A minimum of 25 years of post-qualification experience in Group ‘A’ or equivalent Executive level service.
Significant experience in Planning, Tendering, Execution, and Commissioning of Railway/Metro systems (Signaling, Telecommunication, Rolling Stock, and Power Supply).

Age Limit (as of April 2026)

Minimum Age: 45 Years
Maximum Age: 57 Years

Selection Process

Call letters for interviews will be issued to the candidates via their registered email, specifying the date, time, and venue of the interview.

The Candidate shall have to indicate his/her acceptance to the offer within seven working days from the receipt of offer, if not; the next candidate in order of merit will be offered the appointment on similar lines. However, the Competent Authority may grant such extension of time depending upon the exigencies, if so requested.
