Educational Qualification

Driver:

Matriculation (10th) from a recognized board.
HTV Driving License + must pass driving test

Motor Mechanic Vehicle:

Matriculation (10th)
2-year ITI in Mechanic Motor Vehicle + 1 year experience OR 3-year apprenticeship + 1 year experience

All other Trades (Cook, Tailor, Carpenter, Band, Bugler, Barber, Washerman, Safai Karamchari, Water Carrier, Mali, Painter, Cobbler, etc.)

Matriculation (10th) from recognized board (or equivalent Army qualification for Ex-Army personnel)
Must be proficient and have worked in the respective trade

Pioneer (Mason/Electrician):

Matriculation (10th)
1 year of experience in Masonry/Electrician work (ITI certificate preferred)

For Constable (Driver): 21-27 years as on 01/01/2026. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02/01/1999 and later than 01/01/2005.
For Constable (Motor Mechanic Vehicle / Cobbler / Carpenter / Tailor / Brass Band / Pipe Band / Gardner / Bugler / Painter / Cook / Barber cum Hair Dresser / Washer Man & Women / Water Carrier / Safai Karamchari / Mason / Plumber / Electrician: 18-23 years as on 01/01/2026. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02/01/2003 and later than 01/01/2008.
