Educational Qualification (as on the crucial date i.e. 08/09/2025)

  • Passed 10+2 or equivalent in any stream from a Govt. Recognized Board/ University.
  • Passed Diploma/Certificate in Computer application of minimum 06(six) months duration and should be fully conversant with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc

  • Minimum: 18 years (all categories)

OIL Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

  • The selection process for the Junior Office Assistant position is designed to be transparent and efficient. It consists of a single stage:
  • Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT): This is the only stage of selection. Candidates who qualify in the CBT and stand high on the merit list will be considered for final appointment, subject to document verification and a pre-employment medical examination.
    • Exam Mode: The test will be conducted online.
    • Question Type: All questions will be Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs).
    • Language: The test will be bilingual (English & Hindi).
    • Duration: The total duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
    • Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking for wrong answers, which is a significant advantage for applicants.
    • Qualifying Marks:
      • 50% for General/OBC/ST/EWS candidates.
      • 40% for SC/PwBD candidates.
