Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University. Candidate must specifically indicate the percentage of marks obtained (calculated to the nearest two decimals) in the relevant column of the application form. Where percentage of marks is not awarded by the University but only CGPA/OGPA is awarded, the same shall be converted into percentage in terms of conversion norms of university in this regard, besides indicating the CGPA/OGPA in the application form. Candidates will have to produce the certificate/document issued by the university evidencing conversion formula of university, when called for document verification. Round off %age will not be acceptable under any circumstances for consideration for appointment. The fraction of percentage so arrived will be ignored i.e. 39.99% will be treated as less than 40%.
Age limit
- Minimum age limit is 20 years as on 01st June, 2022 i.e. closing date of online application
- Maximum age limit is 30 years as on 01st June, 2022 i.e., closing date of online application. The Maximum age limit for Serving regular employees of ICAR is 45 years as on 1st June, 2022.
Application Fee
- The candidates seeking admission to the examination must pay the ICAR IARI application fee which includes both the examination fee and registration fee. The application fee for filling ICAR Recruitment 2022 Application form is as follows, which is to be paid online through debit/credit/net banking/wallets.
- UR/OBC-NCL(NCL)/EWS: Rs. 700/- (Examination Fee) + Rs. 500/- (Registration fee) = Rs. 1200/- (Total)
- Women/ Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe/ExServicemen Person with Benchmark Disability: Rs. 500/- (Registration fee) Only
Selection Process
- Candidates applying for IARI Assistant Recruitment 2022 will go through 3 stage selection process i.e Prelims, Mains and Skill Test. Candidates who will qualify prelims and mains will be called for the Skll Test (computer proficiency test).
- IARI Assistant Minimum Qualifying Marks: The minimum qualifying marks in Preliminary & Mains Examinations will not be less than as follows:
- UR : 30%
- OBC/ EWS : 25%
- SC/ST/Divyang : 20%
IARI Assistant Exam Pattern
- There would be two written tests (Prelims & Mains) and candidates have to qualify in each exam to get shortlisted for the skill test. Check IARI Exam Pattern, marking scheme, and time duration for each stage from the below section.
- There will be 4 parts in the IARI Assistant Prelims Exam each consisting of 25 questions.
- The questions will be of Objective type
- For each correct answer, 2 marks will be awarded.
- For each incorrect answer, 1/3rd mark will be deducted.
- The duration of completing the prelims exam is 1 hour and for scribe candidates, the duration is 1 hour 20 minutes.
