Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates should possess B.E/ B.Tech/M.E/ M.Tech/ MBA/ Graduate in any discipline with post-graduatein a relevant field. (see details in official advertisment)

Age limit 

  • Minimum Age Limit: 35 Years
  • Maximum Age Limit: 55 Years

Application Fee

  • Rs.300/- for Unreserved & other category candidates.
  • Rs.50/- for SC/ ST candidates.

Payment Mode

  • Candidates can make payments either DD or online.

Selection Process

  • The selection methodology comprises two-stage process, interview followed by medical examination. The selection process will judge the candidate on different facets like knowledge, skills, comprehension, attitude, aptitude and physical fitness.
  • Medical Examination: Expenses for the first time medical examination of the candidate will be borne by CMRL. However, in case a candidate seeks extension for joining, then the second time medical examination expenditure will be borne by the candidate. To & fro travel expenses for the medical test shall be borne by the candidate. The candidate who fails in the prescribed medical test will not be given any alternative employment and decision of CMRL is final on this issue.

How to Apply

  • Candidates who fulfill the above requirement should submit duly filled application form as per attached format in hardcopy along with prescribed application fee (DD/NEFT) supported by Bio-Data and one set of self-attested copies of educational qualification certificate, experience certificate, birth certificate, community certificate and latest passport size photo through proper channel to the following address on or before 14-May-2022.

    Selection Process

    • Technical Assistant: The candidates fulfilling all necessary eligibility criteria as recommended by the Screening Committee will be invited for Trade Test and those who qualify in the Trade Test will be called for Written test consisting of Paper I (Mental Ability Test), Paper II (General Awareness and English) and Paper III ( concerned subject). The second and third paper will be evaluated only for those candidates who secure the minimum threshold marks (to be determined by the Selection Committee) in the first paper. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the written examination (scheme of written /skill test will be notified in the CSIR-SERC website)

    • Education Qualification: Candidates who are going to complete the above course in the academic year 2017-18 are also eligible to apply, provided final degree is available by 31/8/2018 and their aggregate is 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10 (average of all semesters for which results are available).
