    Educational Qualification

    • AFCAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria for Flying branch: 
      • Candidates should have mandatorily passed with a minimum of 50% marks each in Mathematics and Physics at 10+2 level. OR 
      • Graduation with minimum three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. OR
      • BE/B Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognised University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. OR
      • Candidates who have cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent
    • AFCAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria for Ground Duty (Technical) Branch:
      • Aeronautical engineering (Electronics)(AE(L)): Minimum 60% marks each in physics and mathematics at 10+2 level and a degree in graduation/post-graduation in the field of engineering and technology from a recognised university.

    AFCAT 02/2026 Age Limit (as on 01/06/2027)

      • Flying Branch through AFCAT and NCC Special Entry: 20 to 24 years as on 01 January 2027 i.e. born between 02 January 2003 to 01 January 2007 (both dates inclusive). Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable up to 26 years i.e. born between 02 January 2001 to 01 January 2007
      • Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical) Branches: 20 to 26 years as on 01 January 2027 i.e. born between 02 January 2001 to 01 January 2007 (both dates inclusive)
