Indian Army SSC Tech Eligibility Criteria 2026

Educational Qualification

Applicants must be Indian citizens or subjects of Nepal/Bhutan or persons of Indian origin with eligibility certificates.
For the Short Service Commission (Tech) entry, candidates must be 20–27 years old as of 01 April 2026 and hold a B.E./B.Tech degree in a relevant engineering discipline from a recognized university; final-year students can apply if they complete their degree by the cut-off date.
Only unmarried male and female engineers are eligible, and candidates must satisfy prescribed medical and physical standards for service.

Candidates must be between 20 to 27 years as on October 1, 2026. Applicants must be born between October 1, 1999 and September 31, 2006, both dates inclusive.
