SECL Apprentice Recruitment 2025 Eligibility
Educational qualification
- Graduate Apprentice: 3 to 4 year degree for graduate apprenticeships
- Technician Apprentice: 3 year diploma for technician apprenticeships.
- Graduate and diploma engineers (3 years after 10th or 2 years after 12th with lateral entry) are eligible, provided they studied through regular (full-time) education.
- The AICTE allows lateral entry into the second year of diploma courses for 10+2 candidates, with specific conditions, and diploma courses should last 3-4 years after the 10th.
- Candidates should not have previous apprenticeship training or more than one year of work experience at any establishment.
Age limit
- Minimum age requirement is 18 years for both posts.
SECL Apprentice Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
- Candidates will be selected based on their qualifications comparing their graduation degree/diploma passing date. In case of a tie break
- 12th or 10th exams and date of birth will be used
- Two seniority lists will be made: Level-1 for Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh candidates, and Level-2 for candidates from other states, with preference given to the Western Region.
- The provisional list will be available on the official SECL website in the 3rd week of February 2025.
