Educational Qualification

Essential Minimum Prescribed Educational Qualification:

Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate for NTPC categories. 50% marks is not insisted upon in the case of SC/ST/ Ex. Servicemen / Persons With Disabilities (PWD) candidates and in case of candidates who possess qualifications higher than the essential minimum prescribed qualification.
NOTE : Persons if appointed to the category of Clerk-cum-Typist should acquire Typing proficiency of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi with in a period of two years from the date of appointment and till such time their appointments to this category will be provisional. OR
Matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship approved by NCVT /SCVT for technical categories. OR
Matriculation plus ITI approved by NCVT / SCVT for technical categories.

ESSENTIAL PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION:

Degree/Diploma/ Certificate in any classical dance from Government recognized institute (Male / Female Dancer)
Degree/Diploma Course / Certificate in Music from Government recognized University / college / Institute (Guitarist or Saxophone Player )

Age limit

18 to 30 years. The lower and upper age limit will be reckoned on 01/01/2025.

Application Fee

For all candidates except those mentioned in sub-para (ii) below: Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) with a provision for refunding Rs. 400/- to those who are found eligible as per notification and actually appear in the Written Test after deducting bank charges. Candidates in this category should check their eligibility thoroughly before applying. Fee in respect of candidates who are ineligible, but still apply, shall not be refunded.
For candidates belonging to SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen / Persons with Disability (40% & above) / Women / minorities* and Economically Backward Class: Rs.250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty Only) with a provision for refunding the same to those who are found eligible as per notification and actually appear in the Written Test after deducting bank charges.
