RRB Group D Notification 2025

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) has released the notification for recruitment to various posts of Group D. Candidates can submit their applications from January 23, 2025 onwards. The link to apply will be available on the official website of RRBs. A total of 32, 438 vacancies will be filled for Group D positions under level 1. RRB has released the RRB group D short notification 2025. As per the short notification, the detailed RRB Group D 2025 notification will be released on December 28, 2024. The RRB Group D application form 2025 will be released on January 23, 2025. Candidates will be able to submit the RRB Group application form until February 22, 2025.

RRB Group D 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

To apply for Group-D recruitment, candidates must have passed Class 10 or must have obtained a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) from NCVT.

Age limit

Candidates must be between the age group of 18 and 36. There will be an age relaxation for certain categories like SC, ST, Ex-servicemen, etc.

RRB Ministerial and Isolated Categories Application Fees 2025:

The application fees for RRB Group D will vary as per the category of candidate. The candidates will have to pay the requisite application fee as per the table below.

Rs. 500/- GEN/OBC Out of this fee of Rs 500 an amount of Rs 400 shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in 1st Stage CBT.
Rs. 250/- SC/ST/PWD/Women/Ex-Sm/Transgender/Minorities/Economically Backward This fee of Rs 250 shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable on appearing in 1 stStage CBT.

RRB Group D 2025 Selection Process

The selection of the candidates will be made based on their performance in the computer-based test, physical efficiency test, and medical/document verification.

RRB Group D 2025 Syllabus

The RRB Group D syllabus 2025 is divided into 2 categories. Candidates are recommended to go through the RRB Group D syllabus before starting the exam preparation.

General Science (25 questions) - This section covers fundamental scientific concepts from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at the Class 10 (CBSE) level
Mathematics (25 questions) - This section focuses on basic mathematical operations and concepts relevant to everyday life.
General Intelligence and Reasoning (30 questions) - This section assesses your analytical and problem-solving abilities.
General Awareness and Current Affairs (20 questions) - This section tests your knowledge of current events and general information relevant to India.

RRB Group D 2025 Exam Pattern

There are 3 stages in the RRB Group D exam pattern. It is important for the candidates to go through the RRB Group D exam pattern 2025 before starting the exam preparation.
CBT (Computer based test) - This is the important stage as the candidates who qualify this exam will be called for the next round. The test comprises 100 questions which need to be written in 90 minutes. 1 mark will be awarded for every correct answer and ⅓ marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.

Physical efficiency test (PET) - Candidates who qualify the written test will be called to assess their Physical fitness.
Document verification and medical tests - Candidates who have successfully passed the PET, will have to get their medical examination in order to check if they are fit for the post.
