UPSC Recruitment 2021
Union Public Service Commission - UPSC has invited online applications for recruitment against 56 vacancies for various posts under various departments of the government of India. UPSC on Friday released the recruitment notification on its official website. Candidates can view the advertisement and apply for the posts online at upsc.gov.in. The posts include Data Processing Assistant, Private Secretary, Senior Grade, Junior Time Scale (JTS) Grade & Youth Officer and others. The last date to apply for the posts is October 28.

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification
- Data Processing Assistant: Master’s Degree in Computer Application or Information Technology or Computer Science from a recognized University or Institute OR B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Technology or Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology from a recognized University or Institute.
- Private Secretary: (i) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute. (ii) Dictation: 10 minutes @ 100 words per minute.(iii) Transcription: 40 minutes (English) 55 minutes (Hindi) only on Computers.
- Senior Grade: (i) Degree of a recognized University or Institute; (ii) Diploma/Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism/Mass Communication from a recognized University/Institution; or Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from a recognized University/Institute; (iii) Candidates must have studied concerned Indian language upto 10th Class. Note: Direct recruitment to posts in Senior Grade of Indian Information Service shall be made language-wise. There shall be no category-wise/community-wise reservation for any of the languages.
- Junior Time Scale (JTS) Grade: (i) Degree of a recognized University, (ii) Diploma in Social Work or Labour Welfare or Industrial Relations or Personnel Management or Labour Law from a recognized University or Institution. DESIRABLE: Degree in Law from recognized university.
- Youth Officer: (i) Master’s Degree from a recognized University OR (ii) Degree of a recognized University.
Age limit
- 30 years for Data Processing Assistant / Youth Officer / Private Secretary / Senior Grade
- 35 years for Junior Time Scale (JTS) Grade
Application Fee
- Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.
- No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community. No "fee exemption" is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.
- Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would be entertained.
- Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.
Selection Process
- The category-wise minimum level of suitability in interviews, irrespective of whether the selection is made only by interview or by Recruitment Test followed by interview, will be UR/EWS-50 marks, OBC-45 marks, SC/ST/PwBD-40 marks, out of the total marks of interview being 100.
- In cases where selection is made by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by interview, the candidate will have to achieve minimum level of suitability in their respective category at Interview stage
