SSC Stenographer Notification 2020
Staff Selection Commission - SSC published an official notification for Recruitment of SSC Stenographer exam every year for recruitment of Stenographer Grade C (Group B Non-Gazetted) and Grade D (Group C) for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organisations. Eligible and interested candidate can apply for SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2020-21. SSC Steno recruitment will be done through online mode only. Eligible and interested can apply for SSC Steno Jobs 2020 on SSC Website, once the official notification is released.

- Name of posts: Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
Age limit
- Stenographer Grade „C‟: 18 to 30 years as on 01.08.2020 i.e. candidates born not before 02-08-1990 and not later than 01-08-2002 are eligible to apply.
- Stenographer Grade „D‟: 18 to 27 years as on 01.08.2020 i.e. candidates born not before 02-08-1993 and not later than 01-08-2002 are eligible to apply.
Application Fee
- Rs 100/- (Rs one hundred only). Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with disability (PwD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
Selection Process
- Candidates will be called for SSC Steno Computer Based Test. On the basis of their performance in Online Test, merit list will be prepared for the skill test. All those candidates who qualify in the skill test will be recommended for appointment by the Commission on the basis of total marks in the Computer Based Examination.
