Eligibility Criteria for GPSC Recruitment 2018

  • Educational Qualification & Age limit:
    • Assistant Commissioner of Industries: At Least Second class degree in Engineering or Technology (excluding Civil Engineering) and a post-graduate degree or diploma in Business Administration or Management or Entrepreneurship Development obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a Universities under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or any equivalent qualification recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education and 
      • Experience:
        • have about three years post qualification experience on the post not below the rank of Senior Industries Inspector, Class III in the subordinate service of the Commissionerate of Industries, Gujarat State; or
        • have about three years post qualification combined or separate experience of Administration or in supervisory capacity or field experience in the Government or Local Body or Government Undertaking Board or Corporation or Limited Company established under the Companies Act, 2013 or Public Private Partnership Projects initiated by the Government or Local Bodies on the post not below the rank of Senior Industries Inspector, Class III in the subordinate service of the Commissionerate of Industries, Gujarat State;  
    • Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967;
    • possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both 
      • Not more than 40 years
    • Assistant Geologist: a post graduate degree in Geology or applied Geology or Geological Science or Geology Exploration or Mineral Exploration or Engineering Geology or Marine Geology or Earth Science and Resource Management or Petroleum Geosciences or Petroleum Exploration or Geochemistry or Geological Technology or Geophysical Technology with minimum 55% Marks obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such as declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
      • Experience: 
        • have about three years experience on the post not below the rank of Mines Supervisor, Class III in the subordinate service of the Commissionerate of Geology and Mining, Gujarat State; or
        • have about three years experience in the field of mining or mineral administration or mineral legislation or mineral exploration in Government or Government undertakings Board Corporation or Limited Company established by Law in India or Mining Organization on the post which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Mining Supervisor,  Class-III in the subordinate service of the Commissionerate of Geology and Mining, Gujarat State.
    • Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967;
    • possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both

    • Industries Officer (Technical): Possess a First Class bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (excluding Civil Engineering) obtained from any of the universities or institutions established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared as deemed university under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government, and 
      • Experience:
        • Have about three years’ experience in the field of Engineering or Technology (excluding Civil Engineering) on the post not below the rank of Junior Industries Inspector in Government Department; or 
        • Have about three years experience in the field of Engineering or Technology (excluding Civil Engineering) in any Local body or a Government under taking Board/Corporation or a Limited Company established by Law in India or an Industrial  Organization, on the post which is equivalent to or not below the rank of Junior Industries Inspector in a Government Department recognized by the Government as such;
    • Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules 1967. 
    • Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi.
      • Not more than 38 years
    • Professor (Govt. Dental Collage) - Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics / Oral Pathology and Microbiology / Orthodontics and Danto facial Orthopaedics / Paedodontics (Paediatric) and preventive dentistry / Periodontology / Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridges / Public Health Dentistry: Possess academic qualifications as specified respectively against each subject in Annexure below obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India, or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956;  or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Dental Council of India; 
      • Experience: ( Advt.03 /2018-19 to 09 /2018-19 )
        • have atleast five years teaching experience in the concerned subject as specified in column 2 of Annexure below on the post of Reader or Associate Proffesor, class-I, in the Dental College / Medical College recognized by the Government and Dental Council of India after acquiring the post – graduate degree. 
      • The basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967; and 
      • Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi Or Both.  
        • Not more than 45 years
    • Assistant Professor (Govt. Dental Collage) - Public Health Dentistry, Class-1 (Dental) / Oral Medicine and Radiology, Class-1 (Dental) / Orthodontics and Dental Orthopaedic, Class-1 (Dental): 
      • Possess academic qualifications as specified in the Annexure below obtained from any of the university established or incorporated by or under the Central or State act in India or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grant Commission act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by The Dental Council of India Lecturer (Govt. Dental Collage) Prosthetic and Orthotics:
      • The basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967; and 
      • Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi Or Both
        • Not more than 40 years

    • Lecturer (Govt. Dental Collage) Prosthetic and Orthotics:
      • Possess a Master degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 with one years teaching experience in the relevant subject from the Government institute or Government recognized institute; or
      • Possess a Bachelor degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 with three years teaching experience in the relevant subject from the Government institute or Government recognized institute; or
      • Possess a diploma in Prosthetics and Orthotics obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be a deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 with five years teaching experience in the relevant subject from the Government institute or Government recognised institute; 
      • The basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967; and 
      • Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or Both
        • Not more than 38 years
    • Clinical Psychologist: 
      • A Degree of Master of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology subject obtained from any of the Universities or institutions established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; and recognized as such by the Rehabilitation Council of India. 
      • Possess the basic knowledge of Computer application as prescribed in Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967 as amended from time to time.
      • Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both
        • Note more than 34 years
    • Assistant Charity Commissioner:
      • Possess a special degree in law or Integrated LL.B obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institutions recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or possess and equivalent qualification recognized by the Government;
      • Experience:
        • Have at least four years experience on the post not below the rank of Civil Judge; or
        • Have at least four years experience on the post which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Civil Judge; or
        • A person who has been for at least seven years –
          • an Advocate enrolled under the Advocate Act.1961; or
          • an Attorney of High Court
      • The basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment Rules, 1967, and
      • Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
        • Not more than 45 years.
    • Administrative Officer, Class-2 (E.S.I.S.):

      • A Graduate Degree with at least Second Class of any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Comission Act,1956
      • Have about five year experience on the post not below the rank of Head Clerk, Class III in the subordinate services of the Directorate of Medical Services, Employees’ State Insurance Scheme,Gujarat State, or
      • Have about five year experience of administration in Government/Government undertaking/Board/Corporation/Limited Company established under the companies Act,2013 on the post which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Head Clerk, Class III in the subordinate service of the Directorate of Medical Services, Employees’ State Insurance Scheme,Gujarat State. 
      • Possess the basic knowledge of Computer application as prescribed in Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment Rules, 1967 as amended from time to time. 
      • Have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
        • Not more than 40 years
  • Application Fee: General candidate have to pay Rs. 100/- + Postal service charge ,Unreserved candidate of Origin of Gujarat and P.H. candidate not need to pay fees ,Unreserved candidate of other state have to pay prescribed fees.
