Eligibility

Educational qualification:

Essential: SSC passed or equivalent examination of Indian Armed Forces passed.
Preferred: Diploma in Police Science from Raksha Shakti University, Gandhinagar or any Government recognized University.

Experience:

Minimum experience of 05 (five) years in Army, Navy, Air force, Paramilitary forces or Police force.
Candidates possessing Diploma in Police Science awarded by Raksha Shakti University, Gandhinagar or any other Government recognized University shall be considered without requisite or any post qualification experience.

Age limit: 40 for General (UR) Candidates & 45 for SC/ST/SEBC Candidates
Application Fee: Rs. 500 /- for General (UR)/SEBC Candidates & Rs. 250/- for SC/ST Candidates. The applicant has to pay application fees in any of the Branches of State Bank of India or online through Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking.
Pay Scale: Rs. 7300-17940.

Selection Process

Final selection will be based on physical fitness test & written test.

Qualifying Physical standards

For Male

All other candidates (except scheduled Tribes of Gujarat Origin)

Height in centimeters: 165

Scheduled Tribes candidates of Gujarat Origin:

Height in centimeters: 162
Chest in Centimeters: 79 Deflated | 84 Inflated (Both)

Selection parameters:

Weight: Between 50 to 65 kg
Eye Sight – 6/6 (with correction)

Physical Endurance Test:

High Jump – 100 cms
Long Jump - 300 cms
The candidates should be able to run 1000 meters in 7 minutes.

For Female

All other candidates (except scheduled Tribes of Gujarat Origin)

Height in centimeters: 155

Scheduled Tribes candidates of Gujarat Origin:

Height in centimeters: 150

Physical parameters:

Weight: Between 40 to 65 kg.
Eye Sight – 6/6 (with correction)

Physical Endurance standards:

High Jump – 75 cms
Long Jump - 225 cms
The candidates should be able to run 1000 meters in 10 minutes.

Valid Caste (Roster Category) Certificate of Reserved category of Gujarat State.
In case of SEBC candidates, Valid Non Creamy Layer Certificate issued in Gujarati પરિશિષ્ટ “ક” ”/ પરિશિષ્ટ “૪” (ગજુ િાતી) by the Competent Authority of Gujarat State.
NOC from present employer.
Domicile certificate, if applicable.
Copy of SBI Challan (for payment made at SBI branch)/copy of system generated receipt in case of online payment of application fees In case of Widow Candidates, necessary documentary proofs.
