Staff Selection Commission (SSC) (Western Region) published List of Candidates who are selected for Typing test for Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Examination 2015. SSC CHSL 2015 Typing Test syllabus:
Typing Test will be set in both English or Hindi and candidates want to give Examination will have to take choice or option for Typing Test Medium English/Hindi in the Application Form. Applicant who have selected English medium should maintain typing speed of 35 words per minute Corresponds to 10500 key depressions per hour. In Hindi Applicant who have selected Hindi medium should maintain typing speed of 30 words per minute and 30 wpm corresponds to 9000 key depressions per hour.The speed will be judged on the accuracy of typing speed on the computer text passage in 10 minutes. Visually Handicapped candidates allowed 30 minutes. And In English the passage to be typed in 10 minutes has 1750 key depressions and in Hindi it has 900.
