Law officer Grade-B: 03 Posts

Bachelor’s Degree in Law recognized by the Bar Council of India for the purpose of enrollment as an Advocate with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent in the aggregate of all semesters/years.

Not exceeding 32 years

Assistant Archivist Grade-A: 01 Post

Degree or Diploma in Archives keeping or Archives Administration or Archival Science or Archives and Records Management from a recognized University or Institution.

Not exceeding 35 years

Scheme of Selection:

Law officer - Selection will be through Written Examination (‘WE’) and interview. ‘WE’ will be held in June/July 2016 and shall consist of objective and descriptive type questions as detailed below:

Paper I – General Knowledge of Law (3 Hours):

Objective Type - 30
Descriptive Type - 120

Paper II – English (3 Hours):

Descriptive Type - 100

Question Paper I (General Knowledge of Law) will be set in Hindi and English. Answers may be written either in Hindi or in English. Candidates may answer the Interview in Hindi or English at their option .The number of candidates to be called for interview will be decided by the Board based on the marks scored in WE. Final selection will be on the basis of the performance in the WE and interview taken together. The WE and Interview will be held at places as decided by the Board.
