Eligibility

Educational qualification, Age limit & Other:

Assistant Engineer (Civil): Possess a degree in Engineering (Civil) obtained from any of the Universities or institutions established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institutions recognized as such or declared to be a deemed University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956. The basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967. Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
Geologist: Possess a post graduate degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Geo-technical Engineering obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or Possess an equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Government. Possess the basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967. Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati and Hindi.
Joint Technical Advisor (P.I.): Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with first class (excluding Civil Engineering or Technology) obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other Educational institution recognized as such by the Government or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; and Possess a post-graduate degree in Engineering or Technology (excluding Civil Engineering or Technology); or Master’s Degree in Business Administration
Technical Advisor (Chemicals): Possess a Master degree in Chemical Engineering or Petro-Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other Educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or Possess an M.Sc. degree in Industrial Chemistry (after Graduation in B.Sc. Engineering) from IIT
Project Manager: Possess at least Second Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology except Civil Engineering and a Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Management, Rural Management or Entrepreneurship Development obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institutions recognized as such or declared to be a deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education.
Social Welfare Officer: A Post Graduate degree with Social Work or Rural Study or Rural Management or Sociology or a Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a state Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the U.G.C. Act,1956; or possess an equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Government
Town Planner: Possess a degree in Architecture or Civil engineering obtained from a University established by law in India; or its equivalent qualification from and Institution recognized by the Government; and A post graduate degree or post graduate diploma in City planning or Town planning or Traffic and Transportation planning or Regional planning or Urban Design awarded by University established by Law in India or by an institution recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education or a membership obtained by examination of Institution of Town Planners of India, New Delhi, Provided that preference shall be given to a candidate having the knowledge of relevant Computer Software
Assistant Director of Horticulture / Specialist: possess a Second Class Master degree in any branch of Horticulture or Second Class bachelor’s degree in any branch of Horticulture and have about three years exclusive or combined experience in Horticultural Research or Horticultural Extension Service or Horticultural Education or Horticultural Engineering the qualification specified in clauses shall have been obtained from any of the Universities or institution established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared as to be deemed as University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act,1956. The basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment (General ) Rules,1967 adequate knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi
Assistant Controller Legal Size Science / Consumer Protection Officer: Possess a Second Class degree in Physics as a Principal subject or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation and Control or Electronics and Communication or Electronics Engineering or Chemical Technology of any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institutions recognized as such or declared to be deemed University as a under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956. Posses he basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967. Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi.
Joint Charity Commissioner: Possess a degree in law (special) or law with five years course after Higher Secondary Certificate (H.S.C.) obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
