Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Technical Assistant: First Class Diploma in relevant trade Engg. from a recognized State Board
Technician-B: Matric (SSC /SSLC / 10th Std. Pass) plus. ITI / NTC / NAC in relevant trade from NCVT.

Age limit

18 - 35 Years as on 31.10.2025 (Maximum 40 years for SC/ST Candidates and 38 years for OBC (NCL) candidates, against post reserved for these category).

Application fee

Technical Assistant: There is a non-refundable Application Fee of ₹250/- (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty only) for Technical Assistant (for Post Code – 1 to 5). Initially, all applicants have to uniformly pay ₹750/- as application-fee including candidates belonging to fee-exempted categories (Women/SC/ST/PwBD/ExS). However, Candidates belonging to fee exemption category (Women/SC/ST/PwBD/ExS) will be refunded full application fee, if he/she attends the written test and UR/EWS/OBC candidates will be refunded ₹500/-, if he/she attends the written test. The Application fee will not be refunded to all those Candidates, who fails to attend the written test. Candidates require to furnish correct bank account details with IFSC code in order to get refund while filling online application. All fee-exempted categories except women require to upload relevant certificate (SC/ST/PwBD/ExS) to get refund.
Technician-B: There is a non-refundable Application Fee of ₹100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) for Technician-B (for Post Code- 06 to 12). Initially, all applicants have to uniformly pay ₹500/- as application-fee including candidates belonging to fee-exempted categories (Women/SC/ST/PwBD/ExS). However, Candidates belonging to fee exemption category (Women/SC/ST/PwBD/ExS) will be refunded full application fee, if he/she attends the written test and UR/EWS/OBC candidates will be refunded ₹400/-, if he/she attends the written test. The Application fee will not be refunded to all those Candidates, who fail to attend the written test. Selection Process

The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and possession of the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for further evaluation for selection viz. Written Test/Skill Test. There will be an initial screening based on the on-line application. The criteria for screening will be decided vis-a-vis number of total applications or any other criteria as decided by PRL. The Application Fee of those candidates who will be screened out in the process of screening shall be returned in full.
A Written Test will be conducted at Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Abu Road (Rajasthan) and Udaipur (Rajasthan). However, PRL reserves the right to cancel/change the written test venue and re-allot the candidates to any other test centre. The call letters for written test will be sent only to the registered e-mail ID of candidates.
