PSB Apprentice Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality / Citizenship:

A candidate must be either (i) a Citizen of India or (ii) a subject of Nepal or (iii) a subject of Bhutan or (iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st Jan. 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Govt. of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the interview but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him / her by the Government of India.

Educational Qualification

A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
work experience of 18 months or more in Officer cadre in any Public Sector Bank/ Regional Rural Bank on regular basis.
Experience in NBFCs, Cooperative banks, private banks, payment banks, small finance banks or fintechs will not be considered.

Age Limit (As on cut-off date 01.08.2025):

Minimum:20 and Maximum:30.
A Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1995 and not later than 01.08.2005 (both dates inclusive)

A total of 120 questions carrying 120 marks will be asked, with a time duration of 120 minutes. The test will be bilingual (English and Hindi) except for the English section.
