UPSC NDA & NA Exam II 2025

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (II) 2025, announcing 406 vacancies for aspiring candidates. The application process commenced on May 28, 2025, and interested individuals can apply online through the official UPSC website (upsconline.nic.in) until June 17, 2025. This examination is a gateway for candidates seeking admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the NDA, as well as the Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC), with the written exam scheduled to be held on September 14, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification

For Army Wing of National Defence Academy :—12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian
Naval Academy :—12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

Age limit

Born not earlier than 01 January, 2007 and not later than 01 January, 2010.

Application Fee

Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- either by remitting the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using Visa/Master/Rupay Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment or by using internet banking facility of any Bank.

Selection Process

Candidates for the Army/Navy/Naval Academy and Air Force should secure the minimum qualifying marks separately in (i) Written examination (total 900 marks) as fixed by UPSC at their discretion and (ii) Officer Potentiality Test (total 900 marks) as fixed by the Services Selection Board at their discretion.

A new page will open where candidates will have to enter the registration details.
Once done, click on submit and login to the page.
Fill the application form and make the payment of application fee.
Click on submit and download the page.
Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
