GSSSB AAE Eligibility Criteria 2025

Qualification:

possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering obtained from Technical Examination Board or any of the Universities or Institutions established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institutions recognised as such or declared as deemed to be a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; OR posses an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government: Provided that the candidate holding Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering shall not be eligible to apply.”

GSSSB AAE (Civil) Selection Process

The selection process will involve a competitive examination using the CBRT/OMR (Computer Based Response Test/Optical Mark Recognition) method, consisting of MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) type questions divided into two parts: Part-A and Part-B. The difficulty of the questions will be commensurate with the required educational qualification.
Part A: 60 Questions
Part B: 150 Questions
Total: 210 Questions
Time duration: 3 hours
In the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) section, a negative marking scheme will be applied. For each incorrect response, 0.25 (or one-fourth) of the marks designated for that question will be deducted from the candidate's overall score.
