UPSC CAPF ACs Recruitment 2025

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the advertisement for 357 vacancies for Assistant Commandants in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). Eligible candidates can apply for UPSC CAPF 2025 on the commission’s website, upsconline.nic.in. The notification can be found on upsc.gov.in. The application deadline for UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant Recruitment 2025 is March 25 up till 6 pm. The application correction window will remain from March 26 to April 4.

UPSC CAPF 2025 Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification

A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree of a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification..

Age limit

The minimum age limit for the Central Armed Police Forces. (Assistant Commandants) Examination 2025 is 20 years and the maximum age limit for the same is 25 years. The age relaxation for some categories is given below. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1999 and not later than 1st August 2004.

Application Fee

Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST Candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay fee of Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) either by remitting the money in any Branch of State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card / UPI Payment or by using Internet Banking of any Bank.

The selection procedure/ scheme of the examination will consist of i) UPSC CAPF AC written exam, ii) Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests, (iii) Interview/Personality Test and (iv) Final Selection / Merit.

UPSC CAPF AC Exam 2025

The UPSC CAPF exam will be held on 03 August 2025. The candidates who successfully submit their application can appear for the exam. Before appearing in the exam, candidates will be required to download their admit card.

UPSC CAPF AC Exam Pattern 2025:

Paper 1: General Ability and Intelligence - 250 Marks. The questions in this paper will be of Objective (Multiple Answers) Type in which the questions will be set in English as well as Hindi.
Paper 2: General Studies, Essay and Comprehension - 200 Marks. The candidates will b asked for writing the Essay Component in English/Hindi, but the medium of Precis Writing, Comprehension Components and other communications/ language skills will be English only.

UPSC CAPF Admit Card 2025:

The admit cards will be available at www.upsconline.nic.in in the month of August 2025. No Admission Certificate will be sent by post. All the applicants are required to provide valid and active E-Mail I.D.

UPSC CAPF AC Physical Exam 2025

Candidates who are declared qualified in the written examination will be called for Physical Standards (PST)/Physical Efficiency Tests (PET) and Medical Standards Tests.
