NWR Recruitment 2024

The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), North Western Railway (NWR) has invited online applications for Apprentice positions. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications via the official RRC Jaipur website at rrcjaipur.in. The recruitment drive aims to fill 1791 vacancies. The registration window opened on November 10, 2024, and will close on December 10, 2024. Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification

The candidate must have passed 10 th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks ( No Rounding off will be done), in aggregate, from recognized Board and also possess National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) / State Council for Vocational Training(SCVT).

Age limit

Candidates must be between 15 and 24 years of age. Age relaxation is provided for reserved category candidates, as per government rules.

Application Fee

The application fee for all candidates is ₹100/-. SC/ST, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), Women category candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.

Selection Process

The selection will be on the basis of merit list prepared in respect of all the candidates who apply against the notification. The merit list will be prepared for the purpose on the basis of percentage of marks in matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done. The panel will be on the basis of simple average of marks in the matriculation and ITI.

Visit the official website at nwr.indianrailways.gov.in.
Click on the ‘Recruitment’ tab, and then select ‘Engagement of Apprentices’.
Select the link for online applications and start filling out the application form.
Provide personal and educational details in the form.
Upload scanned copies of required documents like educational certificates and a photograph.
Complete the payment for the application fee online.
Submit the application form and take a printout of the completed application for future reference.
