Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Post Graduate Degree in Psychology from recognized University or equivalent.

Age limit

he candidate should be between 20 and 25 years of age as on the closing date of application i.e. 17th June 2023.

For SC/ST Candidates Application Fee Rs. Nil.

Selection Process

The ITBP SI ESC Recruitment 2023 selection process consists of three stages:

Physical Efficiency Test (PET): The PET will consist of physical tests such as a race, long jump, high jump, and shot put. The candidates who clear the PET will be eligible for the next stage of the selection process.
Written Test: The written test will consist of objective-type questions related to General Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Engineering discipline. The duration of the test will be 2 hours.
Interview: The candidates who clear the written test and PET will be called for an interview. The interview will assess the candidate’s suitability for the role of an ITBP SI ESC.

The selected candidates will undergo rigorous training at the ITBP training center before being deployed to their respective units. They will be responsible for carrying out engineering duties, such as construction, maintenance, and repair of buildings, roads, and other infrastructure in the ITBP.
