UPSC Recruitment 2023
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited online applications for recruitment to the post of Assistant Mining Engineer, Youth Officer and other posts. Interested candidates will be able to apply online through the official website at www.upsc.gov.in from March 25. The last date for the submission of the application form is March April 13. The UPSC recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 69 vacancies in different posts and departments. Educational Qualification
- Regional Director - M.Sc
- Assistant Commissioner - Degree, Masters Degree
- Assistant Ore Dressing Officer - BE/ B.Tech, Masters Degree
- Assistant Mineral Economist (Intelligence) - Degree in Mining Engineering, Masters Degree
- Assistant Mining Engineer - BE/ B.Tech in Mining Engineering
- Youth Officer - Degree, Masters Degreec

Age limit
- Max. 55 Years (Regional Director)
- Max. 40 Years (Assistant Commissioner)
- Max. 35 Years (Assistant Ore Dressing Officer / Assistant Mineral Economist (Intelligence))
- Max. 30 Years (Assistant Mining Engineer / Youth Officer)
Application Fee
- Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty-five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card. No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community. For more details, check the recruitment notification here.
Selection Process
- The category-wise minimum level of suitability in interviews, irrespective of whether the selection is made only by interview or by Recruitment Test followed by interview, will be UR/EWS-50 marks, OBC-45 marks, SC/ST/PwBD-40 marks, out of the total marks of interview being 100.
- In cases where selection is made by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by interview, the candidate will have to achieve minimum level of suitability in their respective category at Interview stage.
