UPSC Recruitment 2022

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited applications from candidates to apply for Lecturer and other posts. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official site of UPSC at upsc.gov.in. The last date to submit the application is till December 1, 2022. This recruitment drive will fill up 160 posts in the organization. Read below for eligibility, selection process and other details.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

JTS - Degree of a recognized University, Diploma in Social Work or Labour Welfare or Industrial Relations or Personnel Management or Labour Law from a recognized University or Institution.
Senior Agricultural Engineer - Degree in Agricultural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or Institution with 5 years of experience.
Agricultural Engineer -Degree in Agricultural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering of a recognized University with 2 years of experience.
Assistant Director - Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized University or Institute; OR Integrated Bachelor's degree in Law (Five Years’) from a recognized University or Institute; OR Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute and Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
Assistant Chemist - Masters's Degree in Chemistry /Organic Chemistry/ Physical Chemistry/ Inorganic Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry/ Agricultural Chemistry and Soil Science from a recognized University or Institute.

Age Limit

40 years (Senior Agricultural Engineer), 33 years (Junior Time Scale / Agricultural Engineer), 30 years (Assistant Geophysicist / Assistant Director / Assistant Chemist / Assistant Hydrogeologist / Assistant Geologist) and 35 years (Lecturer)

Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty-five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card. No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community. For more details, check the recruitment notification here.

Selection Process

The category-wise minimum level of suitability in interviews, irrespective of whether the selection is made only by interview or by Recruitment Test followed by interview, will be UR/EWS-50 marks, OBC-45 marks, SC/ST/PwBD-40 marks, out of the total marks of interview being 100. Date for interview on which the shortlisted candidates are required to bring the printout of their Online Application along with other document at UPSC shall be intimated separately
