POWERGRID Recruitment 2022

Power Grid Corporation of Indian Limited (PGCIL) is going to conduct a recruitment drive to appoint 800 candidates for the posts of Field Engineer and Field Supervisor vacancies. The application forms from the candidates will be accepted online by the recruitment authority. All eligible and interested candidates may submit their online application forms from 21 November 2022 onwards. The last date for the submission of complete application forms will be 11 December 2022. The selection committee will not entertain application forms sent by other modes.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification

Field Engineer (Electrical): Full time B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.)/ BE (Power Engg.) in Electrical discipline or equivalent from recognized University / Institute with minimum 55% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS and pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
Field Engineer (Electronics & Communication): Full time B.E/B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) in Electronics & Communication discipline or equivalent discipline from recognized University / Institute with minimum 55% marks for General/ OBC(NCL)/EWS and pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
Field Engineer (IT): Full time B.E/B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) in Information Technology discipline or equivalent discipline from recognized University / Institute with minimum 55% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS and pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
Field Supervisor (Electrical): Full Time regular 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering discipline from recognized Technical Board / Institute with minimum 55% marks for General / OBC (NCL)/EWS candidates and pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD.
Field Supervisor (Electronics & Communication): Full Time Diploma in Electronics & Communication or equivalent discipline from recognized Technical Board / Institute with minimum 55% marks for General / OBC (NCL)/EWS candidates and pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD.

Age Limit

29 years as on 11.12.2022 (Candidates should not have been born before 11.12.1993 or after 11.12.2004) .

Application Fee

The official notification of PGCIL Recruitment 2022 indicates that the candidate is supposed to pay the application fees as explained below:

Field Engineer: Rs. 400/-
Field Supervisor: Rs. 300/-

Selection Process

The Field Engineer recruitment may be completed only on the basis of the Interview. A Written Exam will be conducted only if a large number of applications are received. The Selection Process for PGCIL Field Engineer & Supervisor Recruitment 2022 includes the following Stages:

Written Exam (50 Questions Technical + 25 Questions of Aptitude)
Interview (Only for Field Engineer Post)
Document Verification
Medical Examination
