Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification

RA / PDP: PhD degree in Mathematics from a reputed institution/university. PhD candidates, who have submitted the thesis, are also eligible for applying the position.
JRF: B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc. (graduated or in the final semester) with a qualified NET/GATE score and minimum 60% marks, or M.E./M.Tech. (graduated or in the final semester) in any of the following or related branches: Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Physics, Engineering Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Polymer Science. It is desirable that the candidate has some exposure to statistical mechanics, molecular simulations and computer programming.
RA: PhD in Electronics/Solid State Physics/Condensed Matter Physics with strong publication record and knowledge in Semiconductor Devices or Condensed Matter Physics or equivalent. The candidate should be proficient in computer programming and should be experienced in performing Density Functional Theory (DFT) simulations. Experience with tools like VASP or QuantumATK and working knowledge of Python, MATLAB and LINUX operating system will be preferred. The applicant should be driven, enthusiastic about research and willing to work for the duration of the contract.
