Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission - GERC invites applications for the post of Independent Members for Consumer Grievances Redressal Forums (CGRFs) established at Junagadh, Bhavnagar, Mehsana, Valsad (proposed) and Ahmedabad from the eligible and qualified candidates with the below specified criteria.

- Name of posts: Independent Member of Consumer Grievance Redressal Forums (CGRFs)
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification
- The Independent Member shall be a person of stature and repute having sufficient exposure to and experience of consumer affairs. Person possessing degree in law from a recognized university and having at least ten (10) years of experience in handling legal matters shall have an added advantage.
- Provided that the Members of the Forum shall preferably have working knowledge of the vernacular language of the State of Gujarat.
Age limit
- Below 65 years as on date of appointment.
Remuneration
- The remuneration will be Rs. 4,000/- per sitting.
Selection Process
- Final Selection will be based on personal interview.
