UPSC CMS Eligibility Criteria:

Education Qualification: candidate should have passed the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. Examination.
Age limit: A candidate for this examination must not have attained the age of 32 years as on 1st August, 2018.
Application Fees: Candidates (Excepting Female/SC/ST/PH candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay of fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card.

UPSC CMS Exam Pattern & Syllabus:

Part-1: Computer based Examination (500 Marks)

Paper: 1 (250 Marks)

General Medicine and Pediatrics:
Total questions in Paper 1120 (96 from General Medicine and 24 from Pediatrics)

Paper: 2 (250 Marks)

Surgery
Gynecology & Obstetrics
Preventive & Social Medicine
Total questions in Paper 2: 120 (40 questions from each part.)

Time: 02 hours
Note: There will be penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the objective type question papers.

Part-2: Personality Test (100 Marks): Candidates who qualify in the computer based examination will be called for Interview/ Personality Test to be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. The Interview/ Personality Test will carry 100 marks.
